Don't say about a man who opposes the Manhaj of the Salaf that he is Salafi

"Don't say about a man who opposes the Manhaj of the Salaf that he is Salafi, don't say a man is Salafi until you are sure that he is upon the Manhaj. He is honored by it and calls to it and befriends and loves based upon it and disassociates and has enmity based upon it.
This is the Salafi, but someone who claims that he is Salafi and befriends Ahlul Bidah and defends them against Ahlul Sunnah, this is not a Salafi whatsoever, whoever he is. Whether he is Arab or non Arab, from the people from the East or the West, because Salafiyyah has special qualities, signs and matters that distinguishes people from others in Al Wala and Al Bara in Aqeedah and Dawah and in the stances that they take."

قال الإمام ربيع بن هادي المدخلي -حفظه اللّه تعالى -:
"لا تقلْ عن إنسان يخالف منهج السلف أنه سلفي ,لا تقلْ إنسان أنه سلفي إلا بعد أن تتأكد من أنه على هذا المنهج يعتزُ به ويدعو إليه ويوالي فيه ويعادي من أجله.
أما إنسان يكون سلفي وهو يكون مع أهل البدع ويدافع عنهم ويطعن في أهل السنة فهذا ليس بسلفي ولا كرامة كائناً من كان عربيا أعجميا شرقياً غربياً. السلفية لها خصائص ولها مزايا ولها سمات تميز أهلها من غيرهم في الولاء والبراء والعقيدة والدعوة والمواقف."
